Viewing Historical Instances

Each time a scheduled report runs or is queued to run, it generates an instance in the system, building a history of up to 35. To view the history, click on the title of the scheduled report in the workspace pod.

The history window displays the date and time that the instance was run (or scheduled to run), the title, who scheduled the report, the parameters entered in the prompts, and the status. When you initially schedule a report, you may see a status of Pending (P) or Running (R). Once the report is complete, the status will change to Success (S) or Fail (F). Click on a link in the listing to open the report in Business Objects for standard viewing and further manipulation.

Should a scheduled instance fail, hover over the failed status to view the expanded error and gain some understanding on why the report failed.

Note: Click Refresh History to update the listing to current instances at any time.
